During his time with the Oilers, Gretzky shattered numerous NHL records. He is the NHL's all-time leading scorer with 894 goals and 1,963 assists, and he holds the record for the most points in a single season with 215 (1985-86).

Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers

After leaving the Oilers in 1988, Gretzky played for the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. He continued to be a dominant force on the ice, leading both teams to the playoffs. Gretzky retired from the NHL in 1999 after 20 seasons.

International Career

Gretzky also had a successful international career with Team Canada. He represented Canada at the Winter Olympics four times, winning two gold medals (1984 and 1994) and one silver medal (1992). He also led Canada to victory at the Canada Cup in 1984 and 1991.
